Policy

I. Requesting an Excused Absence

A. To request an excused absence, please ensure that the parent of the student completes the Absence Notice Form at least 24 hours prior to the start of the student‘s class.

B. In case of an emergency on the day of the class, the parent may request an emergency absence by submitting the Emergency Absence Notice Form up to 6 hours before the start of the student‘s class time. Please note that students can only use this method to request an excused absence once per quarter. Additional emergency absences made beyond the initial request will not be considered as excused absences.

C. Please note that absence notices submitted through other means, not mentioned in Section I, Points A and B, will not be considered for an excused absence.

1. That being said, if one fails to attend class without prior notice after the beginning of the class, it will be counted as a regular absence and the tuition for the class will be deducted.

D. Any notices submitted after the commencement of the student‘s class time will automatically be marked as an unexcused absence.

II. Make-Up Class Eligibility and Policy

A. Each student is allowed a maximum of three make-up classes per quarter.

B. Make-up classes are only provided to students with excused absences.

C. Make-up classes must be scheduled within the same quarter as the student‘s excused absences.

D. To request a make-up class, please use the Make-Up Class Request Form. Please note that make-up class requests submitted through other methods will not be considered.

III. Consequences for Unexcused Absences
