Exploration (Age 4-7)
$120 - 60 minutes
As students progress beyond the scribbling stage of artistic development, our focus shifts toward exploring different media, colors, and symbols. This is particularly important for children aged 4-7, as they gradually begin to develop intentional forms and represent things with meaning through symbolic representation, known as the Pre-Schematic
Stage.
During this stage, children start using basic shapes and lines to represent objects and people. For example, they may draw a circle with lines for arms and legs to depict a person, or a triangle to represent a house. By exploring different colors and materials, they can add depth and details to their artwork, enhancing their creative expression.
